"Adequate time has gone by that I can now express my sorrow into words," shared Elwes, saying that his introductory moment with Reiner made him fall in love. "When we commenced sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor posted behind-the-scenes footage from the movie, remarking that he doesn't recollect "one day without mirth".

"This story is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Values that Rob held dear. This is one of the many reasons he was the perfect person to helm it," Elwes wrote.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, noting: "To say that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I remember you." He finished with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Colleague and Comrade

In a distinct piece, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the protagonist.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked wonderfully with the cast, and he understood the human predicament of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Withheld

Recently, a Los Angeles judge ruled to block the disclosure of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, after an appeal from the LAPD.

A legal directive issued a restriction on the cases to limit the public release of "related notes, documents, files or images" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The relevant authority had already determined their deaths were the result of homicide, with a record listing the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".
